Welcome to Farnborough International Airshow 2010 – Public weekend 24-25 July 2010

The Farnborough International Airshow takes place on a biennial basis (once every two years) over one week in July. The first five days of the show are traditionally trade days only, followed by a weekend where the exhibition is opened up to the public. The most recent airshow, Farnborough International Airshow 2008, was a very special year which celebrated the joint anniversaries of 100 years of British flight which began in Farnborough with Samuel Franklin Cody in 1908, plus the Airshow’s Diamond anniversary; a celebration of 60 successful years at the Farnborough Aerodrome which was attended by over 153,000 visitors of all ages throughout the public weekend.

The next Farnborough International Airshow public weekend will take place on 24-25 July 2010 and promises to deliver even more to the Farnborough faithful who return show-on-show, and to the thousands of newcomers set to experience their first taste of the UK’s premier aviation event. The air display in 2010 will be a fantastic extravaganza, showcasing the most diverse range of the latest and greatest international aircraft in a spectacle to out-do any ever seen before. As in previous years, the trade hall exhibits remain in place for the public weekend with additional attractions including flight simulators, extreme rides, interactive exhibits and a children’s activity zone.
